Alphington

The Unfamiliar Walk

Story by Tom Wuthipol Uj February 22nd, 2017

If you have been following my photography journey on Melbourne Brought Me Here, you will know how much I love exploring Melbourne suburbs. There is always so much to explore outside the big city where is jam packed with people and trams. Exploring a suburb like Alphington isn't about what you see in front of you, but rather what you are really seeing. Although there aren't a lot of iconic landmarks in the neighbourhood, my interests were fascinatingly drawn to things that are considered as local. These include streets, signs, traffic and all thing ordinary. This photographic series is a collection of photographs taken during two separate photo walks in autumn and spring.
